Gun shops are a staple of American life.
They’re the place to buy your favorite new gun, the place where you go for a quick haircut, or the place you go when you need to get that new pair of sneakers.
But what if you wanted to buy something that’s not a gun shop, but instead a barber shop?
That’s what the New York City barbershop is for, says Chris Leggett, founder of the barbers shop barbers.
“When we were starting out, we just kind of wanted to get a barbers, a barista, and a hair stylist,” Leggetts tells Wired.
“And I think people really just liked the fact that they’re a bar.
And I think it’s a very important part of the American culture.”
There are about 1,000 barbershops in the United States, according to Leggets, who says they’re more than willing to help you get your haircut.
“We’ve actually had clients come to us and say, ‘Hey, I want to go to the barber because I want a haircut,’ ” he says.
“I don’t know how many times that has happened.”
The barbers at the bar, Legget says, can make you look your best with a custom-tailored, hand-crafted cut.
“They will make sure that you’re dressed in the best way that you possibly can be,” Lecketts says.
And they can make sure you look sharp with a professional haircut.
In fact, he says, a lot of barbers don’t take their own haircuts for granted.
“There’s not much time for the bar to spend on their own hair and nails,” he says in a video for Barbershop Magazine.
“The barbers do the work.
And so the bar will take care of that hair.”
